Pomegranate Basil Margarita are delicious, nutritious, and festive for your holiday soiree. The sweet muddled basil and sugar is the perfect companion to the tart pomegranate juice, creating a tasty red and green cocktail.
Ingredients
Tequila
Lime
Pomegranate Juice
Pomegranate Fruit (optional)
Sugar
Fresh Basil
Method
Pomegranate Seed Ice Cubes
Pomegranate seed ice is an optional addition to this drink since pomegranates are not readily available year round. If you can find a pomegranate, the pomegranate seed ice provides flair to the presentation, without watering down the margarita.
If you can find a pomegranate, cut open the fruit and fill each cube in the ice cube tray half way with pomegranate seeds. Fill to the top with water and freeze.
